Facebook Ad Account - Creating an Account
1. Creating a Facebook ad account
Open your Business Manager (BM) account by selecting the gear icon or Business settings in the top right

In Business Manager, select Ad Account => Add => Create a New Ad Account

Fill in the details. Under Payment method select Add payment method later. Then select Create Ad Account. Be sure to choose the correct Time zone and currency (HCM, Vietnam)

Add payment card details
Open the ad account you just created and select Ads Manager => Billing

Select Payment settings

Under Payment settings => Add payment method, fill in all the details and select Continue

2. Creating an ad account through Ad Account Status
Each BM account can only create one account using option 1. All remaining accounts require a business license to create an account through Ad Account Status
Facebook requires a business license to ensure that an ad account is only used to advertise for the registered business. Using one account to advertise for too many different businesses reduces Facebook's trust, leading to the account being disabled.
Follow these steps:
Add a payment card under: Business settings > Payment methods > Add payment method

Under Ad Account Status > Add > Enter all the business details from the business license and select Create. Once created, the account will undergo Facebook's review. It can be used after the review is complete.

Notes:
- The card should not have a bad history, such as frequent outstanding balances or having been blocked on another ad account. - Use a separate payment card exclusively for ads
- Always keep enough money on the card to avoid frequent ad interruptions caused by insufficient funds.
3. Creating a Facebook Pixel
Open your Business Manager or Ads Manager account. Select the menu icon in the left sidebar. Select Events Manager

In Events Manager, select the green circular plus button in the left sidebar. Select Web > Facebook Pixel. Enter a name and website link, then select Continue > Manually add pixel code to website. Copy the base code and instructions to send to your developer to install on the website.

Select Automatic Advanced Matching > Continue. Facebook will open the event setup screen. You can skip this step.
If the website supports adding a Facebook Pixel, you can copy its ID instead of the entire base code as follows:
After creating the Pixel, in Events Manager select the newly created Pixel > Settings > Copy the Pixel ID and send it to your developer.
