Facebook Business - Granting Access

Granting user access

Open Business Manager (BM).

Go to Business settings or the gear icon in the right-hand corner.

In the sidebar, go to Users > People > Add. Enter the user's email address, select Employee or Admin and click Next.

The user receiving access checks their email, accepts the invitation and signs in again with their personal Facebook account. Note: the invitation email and personal account email do not have to match.

Once the user has access to BM, select their name > Add Assets. Then grant access to the required assets.

Granting Business Manager access

Open Business Manager (BM).

Go to Business settings or the gear icon in the right-hand corner.

In the sidebar, select the assets to share. Then select Assign Partner. Assets that need access include:

Accounts: 2 main sections

• Pages: share the Facebook Page

• Ad Accounts: share the ad account

Data Sources: 2 main sections

• Catalogs: share catalogs (product feed) for DPA

• Pixels: share the Pixel.

Select Connect your page/ad account using your partner’s business ID instead

Enter OTM’s Business Manager ID: 1814240902174285 in the empty field and grant these permissions:

• Facebook Page: Page Admin

• Ad Account, Pixel, Catalogs: Admin Access
