TikTok Ads Launches Search Ads Toggle
TikTok introduces a new Ads Manager feature that lets brands serve ads in TikTok search results.
With Search Ads Toggle, brands can extend campaign reach to high-intent users searching for information related to their business, driving engagement and revenue.
1. What is Search Ads Toggle?
Search Ads Toggle helps reach users searching for specific terms related to your products or services.
Search ads appear as "Sponsored" content in different positions on the search results page, based on relevance, the user's search query and broader insights from other users' behavior.
For example, your business sells sneakers and has TikTok ad content about them. Search ads help users easily find what they are looking for when searching terms related to your business and products.
2. How does Search Ads Toggle work?
Search ads are created automatically using the targeting and video creative from the advertiser's existing in-feed ads, and served alongside organic search results based on relevant user queries.
Some of the most prominent ways users can access search include the "For You" and "Friends" tabs.
3. How to set up a Search Ads Toggle campaign
Step 1: Go to Ads Manager and select Custom Mode
Step 2: Under Campaign > Create new > Lead generation > Continue
Step 3: In Ad group, under Placements, turn on "Include search results"
Note: When you create a new campaign, Search Ads Toggle is on by default. Turning it on allows your ad to be considered for search placements. TikTok's Search Ads delivery system considers many factors, such as the ad's relevance to the query, metadata, budget and competition, to decide which ad to serve for a specific search query.
