1. What are Advantage+ shopping campaigns?
Advantage+ shopping campaigns (ASC for short) require less input, simplify audience options and streamline ad management during campaign creation.
Meta says Advantage+ shopping campaigns have reduced cost per purchase conversion by 12% compared with business-as-usual ads.

2. Pros and cons of Advantage+ shopping campaigns
2.1 Pros of Advantage+ shopping campaigns
- Automation can combine up to 150 ads at once, giving you more time to focus on other aspects of your work.
- Automatically deliver ads to audiences most likely to convert and use your ad budget more effectively.
- Serve the best-performing ad variation to the highest-value shoppers.
2.2 Cons of Advantage+ shopping campaigns
- ASC limits audience research and targeting and does not allow placement control. Your ads will therefore run wherever Meta decides.
- You can create a maximum of 8 Advantage+ shopping campaigns per account.
- Not all accounts currently have access to Advantage+ shopping campaigns.
3. How to create Advantage+ shopping campaigns
Before you start, make sure your account is set up with the Meta pixel
Step 1: Go to https://adsmanager.facebook.com/ >> Campaigns >> Create >> select Sales as your campaign objective

Step 2: Select Advantage+ shopping campaigns

Because Advantage+ is an automated advertising campaign, some sections are preset. You can view these by clicking Preset campaign settings.

In this campaign, you can only edit the following sections:
- Conversion location: Website/ Website and app
- Pixel/ App
- Location
- Budget & schedule
- Optimisation and delivery
