Facebook Removes Detailed Targeting Exclusions from Facebook Ads

From July 15, 2024, Facebook will stop supporting “detailed targeting exclusions” in advertising. However, this removal only concerns detailed targeting (such as interests and demographics). You can still exclude remarketing lists.
Facebook says this change will improve ad performance. A recent test showed an average cost per conversion of <22.6% without detailed targeting exclusions compared with using detailed targeting exclusions.
