How to Set Up Payments in Google Ads
In this post, Optimus shows you the easiest, most convenient way to set up payments in Google Ads.
1. Set up Google Ads billing details
Step 1: Go to Tools and settings > Billing and select Summary
Step 2: Enter the information needed to set up payments, including:
- Billing country
- Account type (individual or business)
- Name and address
- Choose how you pay (manual or automatic payments)
- Payment method (the minimum amount you must add to your Google Ads account is 160,000 VND. This is the minimum payment for Google to record and save your card details on the account)
- Accept Google's policy information and terms and conditions

2. How to add payment methods in Google Ads
Step 1: Under Billing & payments >> Select Payment methods >> Add Payment methods
Choose one of the two payment methods: credit/debit card or MoMo e-wallet

- Paying for Google Ads by credit/debit card
Select Add credit or debit card and enter your card details
- Paying for Google Ads with MoMo e-wallet
Some requirements for paying for Google Ads through MoMo:
Your Google Ads account must have a billing address in Vietnam and use VND as its payment currency
Your MoMo wallet must be linked to your Google Ads account. Users usually need to turn off their browser's pop-up blocker to see the new window.
After selecting Add MoMo e-wallet, you will receive a QR code to scan for payment within 4 minutes.
