Advantage+ Creative: Automatic Facebook Ad Optimization
Recently, Meta updated its automatic Facebook ad optimization feature. When you apply Advantage+ creative in Ads Manager, your images and videos are automatically optimized into versions your audience is more likely to engage with. Different creative optimizations may be available depending on your chosen ad format or placement.
1. Optimizations for the single image or video format
1.1 Standard enhancements
Standard enhancements include image templates, visual touch-ups, text improvements and relevant comments.
1.2 Image brightness and contrast
Image brightness and contrast may be adjusted if doing so could improve ad performance.
1.3 Music
When you select this feature, music may be added to your ad to match the look and feel of other content on Meta apps.
1.4 3D animation
This feature may be applied to give your image movement and depth when the optimization is likely to improve ad performance.
1.5 Image expansion
This feature automatically expands images to fit different aspect ratios, so you can spend less time editing images while making them look more natural in placements such as Feed or Reels.
2. Optimizations for the Carousel format
2.1 Profile end card
When you create a carousel ad and apply this feature, the ad delivery system may add a card with your Page's profile picture at the end to help improve ad performance (note: this only applies to carousel ads on Facebook and Instagram).
2.2 Highlight carousel card
When you create a carousel ad and apply Highlight carousel card, it helps identify the best-performing card for your audience and highlights that card first.
2.3 Dynamic description
Dynamic description helps identify the best time to display the carousel description to improve ad performance.
2.4 Relevant comments
The ad delivery system may select comments on ads that are likely to improve performance and display them on Facebook and Instagram.
